Waterfront Views
Ah so close...just waiting for the weather to get warmer to launch the boat. The harbor this time of year is like a sleeping giant waiting for the churning propellers and the sounds of canvas in the rigging. Gloucester's greatest natural resource still waiting for it's full potential.

Look at the way the light catches the feathers in the gulls wing in the corner of the third photo. Very nice!
I was going to crop down to the yaking gull. But when I saw that gull in the upper corner and how the light played on it plus the splashes in the bottom right I figured it would be better composed. Three gulls were fighting over a scrap of food and that was the aftermath. Good eye Kath !
