Why I created this......

Born and raised in Gloucester, Ma fishing gets in your blood. Surrounded by the sea, kids here have a boat almost as much as kids elsewhere have bicycles! As I grew older my fishing ambitions gave way to what's around me. Although I still "drop a line" every so often, my attention wanders to the majesty of the natural light that make this place so special. Never is each day the same. The subjects may be the same but the light from the sea & sky will morph the subject into a form of art. For that reason artists have been drawn to these shores for several hundred years, they followed the light painting and sketching these surroundings. What artists capture with paint on canvas, I attempt to capture with a click.....if I'm lucky!

I guess that's a sort of Fish'n!

With the wild fires raging out west the smoke has been creating orange color in the sky.

A Wet, Damp, Dreary and Humid Week!

Just as the title of this post says and I never got to take the boat out. I did manage to get some yard work in and thank goodness. The grass and all the other foliage is almost growing as you watch! I did check the boat to make sure the bilge pump is working properly. Here are pics of my last boat trip and a scattering of this and that.

Boat Ride, Tropical Storm & Fireworks!

The week started off with July 5th fireworks that were moved from the 3rd due to weather. Speaking of weather Tropical Storm Elsa passed right over us with rain, fog and a little breeze. Then Jennie and I decided to take our dog for her 1st ride on my "new" boat, she didn't like it!
