Boston broke a record on Sunday with a high of 100 f degrees but here on Cape Ann it topped off at 86 f degrees. It was the sea breeze factor kicking in. The brook behind my house is feeling the effects of the latest drought. I've been here since 1960 and never in my life have seen the brook stop flowing! It's down to a trickle. I use the brook as my emergency water source for my koi pond since the city tap water will kill the koi. Luckily I have a full rain barrel that when it does rain the overflow goes directly into the pond.
In the meantime I captured commercial fishing for pogies inside the outer harbor and different views of Good Harbor Beach.
Down to a trickle!
