One of those hidden jewells along the coast Braces Cove is tucked on the ocean side of Gloucester's Eastern Point. Surrounded by private estates this cove's primary contact with humans can be found in the form of manmade debris that washes up on it's shore. Lost lobster gear, pieces of shattered boats and wood logs, planks and pilings are left stranded with the tides. Years ago a road ran along it's parimeter only to be destroyed countless times by large ocean storms, now only a path remains.

I just recently found your blog. Your pictures are wonderful. The landscape is so different than here in Michigan. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks!
That's funny you should say that. There was one lady walking along the beach. She was from Grand Rapids,Michigan and she said the same thing you did about the landscape!
