With temps getting into single digits at night salt water freezes. The 77' lobster boat "Michael & Kristen" with five crew members lost engine power about 200 miles southeast of Nantucket Island in 20knt winds and 8' seas. The Cape Cod based fishing vessel "Rachel Leah" reached her and began towing operations later to be taken over by the USCG cutter "Escanaba". She is making good progress as I type. In the meantime I assembled some images of the "Michael & Kristen" along with a few "ice shots".
BREAKING NEWS: "Michael & Kristen" is now in safe harbor being towed in by the USCG into Provincetown harbor.
