October is a special time in these parts, fall colors explode in a sort of change of the season fireworks display. Now that I'm working the midnight shift I now get a glimpse of the morning light.
Dawn is breaking as pockets of fog fill in the low spots as I head back home to Gloucester.
Low tide at Little River.High tide
Sailing in the marsh.
Morning moon between "The Three Amigos" wind turbines.
A closer look.
Sun rises over Good Harbor Beach.
From atop the dunes.
Lone figure walks the beach.
Late afternoon
Thacher Island
The "UU Church"!
Looking up into a cool crisp sky!
The sun has set over the Fitz Henry Lane house.
