What's in a name? In this case I can't think of a better name for a boat. "LET ER GO" is a modern seine boat used in hauling the net from a fishing vessel to surround a school of fish. I watched as this boat shoved off with one problem....it was still tied to the pier! I don't know if someone was setting up a joke but it was interesting to watch.
Seine boat "LET ER GO" about to shove off!
Look! There he goes!
Something is wrong, gauges look ok but the boat isn't moving!
She turns and the gauges still look ok!
Dock workers come out to see what's happening!
That's the problem....still tied up at the pier!
"LET ER GO" free at last!
Looking over the bow!
Tiny lobster boat!
Tiny fishing dragger!
Beat up Bug!
My pond lily open dispite another grey day!
It's not "soda" and not "pop" or even "soda pop" it's "tonic"!
It's a "rotary" not a "roundabout"!
"Going up the line" is a term used when leaving the island!
A "jigga"is a homemade powerless go-cart!
It's not "Break Time or Coffee Break" it's "Mug-up"!
It's not a "water fountain" it's a "Bubbla"!
