The Japanese defense forces couldn't stop Godzilla.....I captured the beast!
Spied this over Route 128 on my way home from work. Dirty windshield and strong sun glare I had to darken the image and crop out the sun. That's the only edit to what's probably my worse quality image. I figured some would get a kick out of it so I posted the pic on facebook. A few shares later it's gone world wide! Who would of thunk it?

Why I created this......

Born and raised in Gloucester, Ma fishing gets in your blood. Surrounded by the sea, kids here have a boat almost as much as kids elsewhere have bicycles! As I grew older my fishing ambitions gave way to what's around me. Although I still "drop a line" every so often, my attention wanders to the majesty of the natural light that make this place so special. Never is each day the same. The subjects may be the same but the light from the sea & sky will morph the subject into a form of art. For that reason artists have been drawn to these shores for several hundred years, they followed the light painting and sketching these surroundings. What artists capture with paint on canvas, I attempt to capture with a click.....if I'm lucky!

I guess that's a sort of Fish'n!

Fireworks and Leftover Fiesta Images!

The wife said: "We are going out in the boat to see the fireworks and we are bringing the nieces and nephews"! No problem I thought, it would be a great evening on the water. She asked when should we leave the dock and I tell her no later than 8:30. That would give us enough time to get out there and anchor up for the 9:30 starting time. So with that I head to the boat at 8:00 to get it ready. It's 8:30 and I'm still alone at the boat! I call the wife and she said our guests are still watching the Horribles Parade going by their Washington St. home. At 9:00 my wife calls, she locked her keys in the house and is walking to the boat! At 9:10 she arrives but our guests are no where in sight! She calls her niece and they are stuck in parade traffic! At 9:20 they finally arrive, kids get their life jackets on and we are finally off. By the time we approach the Paint Factory the fireworks begin! "J's Escape" still waiting for a crew! Fireworks over The Fort! No Comment! Greasy Pole walkers head out. Two boats of walkers! Lobster boat "Allison Carol" with the sails of the schooner "Ardelle" in the background. "Ardelle" sails by flotilla. Crowds gather on the beach. Fake body builder fails! Joe leaps! Down goes "No Comment"!

More From Sunday 2012 St. Peter's Fiesta!

Perfect weather highlighted this years St. Peter's Fiesta and luckily I was able to post more images of the sporting events. The Senior Seine Boat Race was the most exciting I've seen in years, "Closing Time" won by a slim margin over "Wharf Rats" and "Kaos". And the Greasy Pole was entertaining as always. Spectators gathe on Pavilion Beach and on the water. Walker in a can! It's Beer Man! No Comment! Concerned looks by the "Wharf Rats" crew! Did I say something? Starter lining them up. Pulling hard! "Closing Time" Neck and neck and neck! "Wharf Rats" "Kaos" Daddy gets a kiss Almost halfway! Back flip! Joey Palmisano does the "Superman"! Down goes Anthony! Getting close! Hanging on! Lots of grease! Nothing but grease! Four point stance! The dude is wearing a kilt!

Sunday 2012 Fiesta!

After staying up all night I managed to process a few images. I don't have the programs on this computer that allows me to edit the way I like so these have a few errors I couldn't correct. Mainly easy rotate and sizing. But all the other photos I took look good and I can't wait to get them published hopefully soon. VIVA!---- US Navy Band! Walkers Arrive. "Closing Time" wins the senior seine boat race! Stu McGllivray wins his 6th Greasy Pole! A closer look. Champ reaches the beach. Showered with beer! Holding the flag high! "Rising Tide" wins the junior seine boat race!

"Glosta Logic"
