Sometimes you gotta stop and take it in!

This is the time of year where I can catch the sunrise on my way home from work. During this past week we had a visitor, the 300' 216 passenger Great Lakes cruise ship Victory I which stayed for 3 days.

I finally have a new computer! After much research and a tight budget I learned the best option for me was a gaming computer. They are highly recommended for photography due to their exceptional graphics and ample storage. The only problem I have so far is how to fully activate the Windows 8.1 that came with it. I need to enter a product key code but so far have failed to find it? It's usually located on the disc box but this is factory installed!
Anyway I have morning and dusk shots I took over the week. The dusk shots I call "just in case", the reason.....I was heading to the supermarket and as I was pulling out of the driveway I went back into the house for my camera just in case I passed a good shot. I'm glad I did and here we go.

We Get Leftovers!

Hurricane Matthew did great damage down south but gave us much needed rain. The local meteorologists had it wrong, they said Sunday morning would have rain for the south shore and Cape Cod and the islands with clearing by noon. It turned out all New England was in a much needed soaker all day!
So as soon as the Tom Brady NFL Destruction Tour game 1 ended I took a rain soaked ride around Cape Ann.

 A Humongous fungus among us! I noticed this fungus behind my house has doubled in size in 3 days!

An Early Fall Mix!

I'm still working with an ancient inefficient lap top which is a pain to work with. But I'm always up to a challenge and posting photos certainly is. Anyhow here are a few recent shots and a couple of old ones.

The ill-fated Bounty 4 years ago this week in Gloucester. She sank a couple of weeks later in Hurricane Sandy.
