During my certification training we headed to New Bedford to witness the unloading process at the Whaling City Seafood Display Auction. It was interesting to see another working waterfront and how similar New Bedford is to Gloucester. One difference is that scallops are the big target species for their fleet. The day we were there groundfish was being unloaded.
