Two Days...Blue and Grey !

From blue skies to grey as my work on the waterfront continues. Between boat arrivals it's time to grab the camera and catch the scenes.

A Job With A View !

Now that I'm back employed, one aspect I can appreciate is that I don't have to be under one roof all day. Going from fish house to fish house the scenery is always changing! Waiting for the next boat to arrive allows me a little "camera time".

Ever Changing Skies !

The day before solid cloud cover descended over the harbor. Even though you don't see the orange light as the sun sets, it does give that tranquil feeling. Scattered clouds today created the sky into a pastel canvas.

"Field Trip" To New Bedford !

During my certification training we headed to New Bedford to witness the unloading process at the Whaling City Seafood Display Auction. It was interesting to see another working waterfront and how similar New Bedford is to Gloucester. One difference is that scallops are the big target species for their fleet. The day we were there groundfish was being unloaded.
