Why I created this......

Born and raised in Gloucester, Ma fishing gets in your blood. Surrounded by the sea, kids here have a boat almost as much as kids elsewhere have bicycles! As I grew older my fishing ambitions gave way to what's around me. Although I still "drop a line" every so often, my attention wanders to the majesty of the natural light that make this place so special. Never is each day the same. The subjects may be the same but the light from the sea & sky will morph the subject into a form of art. For that reason artists have been drawn to these shores for several hundred years, they followed the light painting and sketching these surroundings. What artists capture with paint on canvas, I attempt to capture with a click.....if I'm lucky!

I guess that's a sort of Fish'n!

Man vs Food.....Part I !

Good Morning Gloucester and the Farm Barn & Grille in Essex put on another "Man vs Food" challenge. This time the menu consisted of corn dogs. The one who eats most wins.....simple as that!

Wave Action !

The weather gurus were wrong,they predicted as much as 12" of snow with 60 mph winds the day before. Schools were closed,parking ban activated and buisnesses closed early. What we ended up with was a light late night coating of snow and a pretty nice surf the next day.

More Seal and a Boulevard Hot Rodder !

A couple more of the seal in Manchester harbor. And while I was taking a few shots of the Fishermen's Memorial a young hot rodder was speeding around the Boulevard and asked me to photograph his "mean machine".....So I did!

Seal and Sunsets !

"Caught" another seal, this time resting in Manchester-By-The-Sea harbor. This one was a full grown adult about 250 to 300 lbs. I found a way to get seals to look at me,it's not by yelling or whistling but for the sake of their peace I'll keep that to myself.
