It looks like a lovely day was had by all!
It's funny but I was thinking "what recession?" last night t the rt auction. People were paying big, big, big bucks for the paintings. Talked to your sister there.
Looks like it was a great day!
What I want to know Jay is how do you even get in and out of that mess without getting seriously tangled up! Is the channel even open?
I took some really neat photos going through the Blynman bridge, though I didn't realize that's what it was called. Maybe one of these days I'll post a few more of my wonderful day in Gloucester!
Enjoy every last moment of summer. It's creeping away too quickly!
The channel is open as it skirts the beach. There was so much boat traffic on my way back I zig-zagged thru the the anchored vessels at half the normal river speed and made short cuts that actually saved travel time! The Blynman Bridge by the way is one of the busiest in the world! It averages over 10,000 openings per year! Check my links section, there is a live cam there on the bridge.
That's pretty cool! I'll have to look at tomorrow when it's sure to be busier than tonight.
