Today the ground is saturated, basement pumps are working overtime as we are again pelted with heavy rains. On Monday an oxygen tank and acetylene tank caught fire inside the Carter's Yacht Yard building at the Rose's Marine property. Another "good stop" by the Gloucester Fire Department prevented a major explosion and fire.

It's so nice to see these photos of "back home." Even though we moved to Michigan from the White Mountains in New Hampshire, Gloucester is my favorite place on earth! Your blog helps me deal with my homesickness a wee bit better. Thanks so much.
We haven't had any rain here in..wow..at least a month and a half, if you can manager it, please send some of that our way.
Stay dry and I'm just really loving your blog!
Thank you Beth!
You can have all the rain you want and I'll work on it.
