Here's a good example why boating is a seasonal affair in New England. On Monday when this storm struck I thought how comfortable my boat was sitting on it's trailer all wrapped up. But with that you also have to think of those who go to sea and try to imagine working in this environment!
City skyline!
Eastern Point Yacht Club!
Eastern Point Lighthouse!
Breakwater hit from both sides!
Wave heading in!
Reaching over!
Wind and waves!
Over the top!
Battered breakwater!
Submerged!
Offshore breaker!
Rough seas!
White water at Bass Rocks!
Green water and big curl!
Try to surf this!
Battered shoreline!
Explosive breaker!
Good Harbor Beach snowman a day later!

Great shots Jay.Kind of makes you wonder what a Fisherman has to go through just to make a living.
I got up and heard the ocean roaring all the way over from the Fort. My instincts told me to grab my gear and go over to Atlantic Ave, but my wallet said, "Go to work!"
