The "Gateway Endeavor" a LNG support vessel is also capable for fighting fires at sea. With two powerful water cannons each able to push out 950 gallons of water per second! But for the 25th Annual Gloucester Schooner Festival she provided the "Waterworks"! Breathtaking comes to mind when seeing her two powerful water cannons as the schooner fleet sails by.

Sooo-eet! Many of the ships did not deploy full sails in the harbor. Great shots of the Spirit of Bermuda.
Hi Jay, wonderful images. I think next year I might come down to view the schooners myself. I have to confess, I feel like a little kid when I see the water cannons shooting into the air. Something about it is just so cool!
I was down in Gloucester myself this afternoon with my husband. We went to Halibut point and then the very touristy Rockport. LOL! Pretty town but it's about about tourism which is kind of sad. Wonderful gardens though.
After that we had a few minutes so we stopped in on the fishing pier parking area. The one with the little traffic circle on it. I took a few shots of the Peacemaker turning around, along with some of the dock workers, before I was hustled out of there to get home. Maybe one day we'll be able to just take our time when we go someplace!
Yum, yum, yum!
More great stuff Jay
