I wasn't going to take the boat out today. I only went down to the boat to fuel up and get her ship shape for the weekend festivities. Then as I looked over the houses of Rocky Neck I saw the masts of the Canadian schooner "Bluenose II" looming above them. That did it, lower the engine and cast off the lines with camera in hand. Once I rounded the Railways I aimed my camera at the schooner and click....nothing! The camera wasn't working! What could it be I thought, I had charged the battery. The LED display was flashing "CHA"...That must mean the battery charge is low. Oh no I hope it's not time for a new battery, this one is hard to come by. You just can't walk into a store and buy it off the shelf. A little of that sick feeling started to take over, not now....not during the Schooner Festival! I had spun out to the outer harbor and decided to come in. As I was passing the Paint Factory I finally discovered what the problem was. The memory card wasn't fully installed! Dummy!

Great shots, Jay! Doh! I've done the same thing with the memory card.
Thanks Steve but I still feel like a dummy! You would figure "CHA" means charge, but looking at the manual it refers to the memory card....go figure!
I'm glad you got it working again .You got some really nice pictures there. Looking forward to the next bach. See you soon .....Frank
