A small coastal cruise ship "American Glory" entered Gloucester harbor this morning and is tied up at the Cruiseport. Young sailors enjoyed the breeze and young Greasy Pole walkers practiced for the future. And at 5:30pm Good Harbor Beach is packed!

Oh, I saw the American Spirit head out tonight at 7:00.
I just couldn't imagine the summer anywhere else but on the beach. Great photo's. I love the beach one. So much fun.
Steve.... that "cruise ship" reminded my of the casino boat that was here several years ago..
hip chick....I hate the beach! Actually it's the crowds I don't like. Screaming kids,20 different radio stations blasting away. What I like is a nice secluded beach where all you hear is the surf and the yacking of gulls!
I love the beach you describe !!!
I recently sent away for a brochure for that cruise line I thought they were a little steep in price !!
I was just reading about the American Glory in Yankee Magazine! What a coincidence. It holds 49 passengers and starts at $3,300 per person for a I think a 7 day cruise along the coast. It sounds nice but 7 days would be too long for me.
I'm not big on beach crowds either Jay. We usually try to find a place that is a bit quieter, even if it means a bit of a jaunt. I'm loving these summer days we're having!
Sharon
Just wait until they put the grease on that pole!!!!
Kathleen,
I've seen kids in the auto parts store buying tubes of grease for the pole!
