The mission for the day was to take my nephew Michael to his first trip to Fenway Park to see his beloved Red Sox and his baseball hero David "Big Papi" Ortiz. The traffic was light and we found a parking spot FREE nearby at Kenmore Square. His first mission was to look for a "Big Papi" T-shirt and Red Sox hat which we found on Yawkey Way in short order.Then in the ball park he HAD TO HAVE a foam finger! While in the stands a few people who are fans of "Cape Ann Images" came over to say hi! Trish from Provo, Utah and Jim from Spartanburg, South Carolina.... it was nice to meet you! The rain held off as we watched the Red Sox beat the Oakland A's 5-4. Mike had a blast and can't wait to go again. He even sang along to "Take Me Out to the Ball Game" and Neil Diamond's "Sweet Caroline"!

I keep saying to myself.."I paid $10.00 for a foam finger"! I wanted to show them what a real finger looked like but I resisted!
Bottom line is my nephew had a blast! Now that's priceless!
