Fishing,Wind and Night Shots !
Sunday it was 56 degrees F and work on the docks while Monday the temp dropped to 30 degrees F and gale force winds. Finally I added night time images I took a year ago today.

Stubborn Fire Ravages Law Firm !
About 6:00am a call came in for a fire on Pleasant St. at the law offices of Schlicte Johnstone & Henry. The three alarm fire looked under control around 8:15am when it erupted again. The fire was finally declared under control at 10:57am.
Breaking through the brick wall.

It was 6 degrees F when I woke up this morning. That's cold enough for me but just think how it was for the fishermen out at sea! Hopefully this will be the last Arctic blast blast of the year. And there was 83 year young "Paddy" Brien ready to head down into the fish hold of another boat to scoop out the catch.

A Couple of Gloucester Icons !
Most of the day was cloudy but late in the afternoon the sun broke out. I was planning to shoot sunset scenes but the clouds didn't cooperate. So I waited for dusk to settle in and check out the light on two of Gloucester's icons.The Fishermen's Memorial statue and Eastern Point Light.

Sunset and Dusk and a big wave thrown in !
I'm trying to get back up to speed after a bout with the flu. Boy.....I'm glad February is gone, it sure was a brute weather wise.
