Every boat I've had since the age of 14 I never had a rear view mirror. What prompted me to add one was when I was launching at the ramp last week. Just before I backed away from the ramp I checked behind me to see it it were clear and it was. But as I was still between the floats some yelled "LOOK OUT"! A small boat was heading right at me! I stopped my momentum and avoided a collision. The boat going forward should have changed direction since I was clearly visible. I just shrugged my shoulders and moved on.
Mirror installed
I had to make sure I could install the console cover.
