One of my favorites to shoot are fireworks. This year the 400th anniversary of the founding of Gloucester the fireworks were scheduled the 3rd after the parade. But a forecast of rain that night (which never happened) they were rescheduled to the 8th. I knew from the visibility my usual spot by the Fishermen's Memorial I would have to move closer to their launching spot. I waited by the Fishermen's Wife's statue and all I could see was the launch and that's it!
Concert in the fog!
Over flowing!
Private fireworks, the only ones visible!
Fireworks behind the fog!
Good Harbor Beach at low tide.
A tanker passes by.
Harbor Cove sunrise.
Lots of rigging!
Schooners at reast.
Hours before the parade.
City Hall casting a shadow on the low clouds.
Young family heads home from the invisible fireworks show!
