The weather wasn't perfect but with last years festival called off due to covid, it was just fine. I took 256 pictures and spent hours editing. Being back on my own boat after 8 years was a challenge navigating around the spectator fleet while taking pictures. I knew what to expect and that's the unexpected. Luckily only one almost mishap, a pleasure boater abruptly changed direction right into my path. I reversed quickly to avoid a collision. That brought me back to my HS football coaching days, I would always remind the linebackers to always "keep your head on a swivel". That's how any boater should operate especially in heavy boat traffic.
Due to the large image file I will leave out captions and probably follow up in the next week or two more images of the Gloucester Schooner Festival.
