My first pick up truck was a 1978 Chevy C-10 I bought new for $4800.00! The 1st month I had it the head gasket blew a month later the heater core failed and a few months later the speedo cable busted. Within 3 years body rust started to show! That left a bad taste in my mouth for GM products. Next came a new 1986 Dodge Dakota followed by a 1996 Dakota then a 2004 Dakota. No serious problems with the Dakotas but Dodge stopped making them in 2011 when Fiat bought Chrysler. I would have bought another Dakota but Dodge went down hill after the Fiat merger. So in 2017 I traded my 2004 Dakota with only 63k miles on it for a Ford F-150 STX with the 2.7 twin turbo Ecoboost engine. Because I put on little mileage per year I decided to lease.
Well the lease was up this month so I decided to lease another. The 2017 I just traded only had 13.1k miles on it! This time I figured to get more bells & whistles for another STX package then buy out the lease.
