I was on my way to work about 11:00 pm heading south on Route 128 when I came upon patches of fog. It was a strange fog with areas forming about 50' above the roadway in spots as I drove. By the time I turned onto Route 62 in Danvers the fog lowered to ground level and very thick in spots. About 1:00 am making my rounds at work I headed up to the roof top mechanical room. There I check to make sure all systems are running normal then decide to poke my head out the door to check the weather. Spread out before me a thick carpet of fog has spread across the North Shore, above a clear star lit sky. As I looked in amazement I saw a brilliant meteorite streak straight above. The fog ran from ground level to about the 7th or 8th floor of this 18 story building and I headed back down to my office to grab my camera. While setting up the camera on a mini tripod the moon broke through above the carpet and I was in awe!
