The temps were in the mid 80's and not a cloud in the sky! With nothing on my schedule I boarded the boat and headed up river...or down river? Since the Annisquam River is tidal, it all depends on the tide. This time the tide was going so I headed against the out going flow to head up river. But half way through the out going current means I was going down river. I think it's the only river that flows both ways!
So here it is approaching mid October and yet the boat traffic was almost mid Summer like!
A Samay sighting as I pulled away from my dock.
A nice Downeast 20 heads out.

Going against a 5knt current, this sailboat struggles through "The Cut".

"Razzo" in Harbor Cove. Rumor has it that this boat is slated for demolition. The owner just bought another fishing vessel and hopefully a buyer can be found for what I believe is one of the most colorful boats in the fleet.
