I found a young Harp Seal who is!
These creatures enjoy the ice and snow and the abundance of food found in the area. As little as 10 years ago seals were a rare sight in these waters. Now it's common to see them year round. If you see a seal do not approach, it will add stress that can effect their health and they can be nasty too. If your walking your dog and a seal is in the area, make sure your dog is leashed! They may look a little like dogs but if one gets too close the seal will attack..... and probably win!
Images of this seal were taken with a telephoto lens.
Also included are images from the last few days.
