Back in March I did a promotional photo shoot for CBS in Jimmy Tarantino's efforts to be a cast member on their hit show "Survivor". Well Jimmy made it and he's a proud representitive of Gloucester and Cape Ann. Yesterday mid afternoon I got a call of a boat landing at Boston Seafood Display Auction down on "The Fort". As it turns out the boat "Princess Elena" was not on my list due to a last minute change so I was asked to cover her unloading. The boat was late to arrive but that gave me the chance to catch the waterfront happenings from one of the prettiest spots in the harbor. And what did I see? Jimmy "T" out rowing a dory, early evening wearing sun glasses! He has gone Hollywood!

I have enjoyed looking at your blog. We lived in Gloucester for about 5 years when I was a kid. We left there and moved to Missouri. I have great memories of Gloucester. One day I would love to bring my family. I am excited to see a Gloucester guy on Survior and a Kansas City contestant also! I can hardly wait for it to air. Keep up the great work! Thank you!
Boy....from Gloucester to Missouri. That's a long walk to the beach! I'd bet your family would love some fried clams and a whale watch cruise and just hanging out at the creek at Good Harbor Beach. I think Jimmy will do us proud and thanks for the nice comments!

Wow, this is exciting stuff! I hope Jimmy knows what he got himself into. Survivor is absolutely brutal! My husband watches ever single season so we'll both be watching it this year. When does he leave?
