With a new job, time for the boat has taken a back seat. Working every day since May 1st and away for certification training the last week in April, I finally had two days off to get the boat ready. And I needed those two days! When the cover came off I was surprised the boat looked dirtier than when I put the cover on last October! Saturday morning out came the power washer, I attacked inside and out and changed the lower gear oil. Sunday morning it was time to paint the bottom. It's a thankless task laying on my back with paint hitting me in the face at times. When the bottom was finished it was time to wax & buff the hull. I took a break to watch the 2nd half of the Celtics game then returned to the boat to remove the masking tape and clean up. And there in the yard watching the proceedings was our resident wild rabbit "EG"!
