What's left of Hurricane Ida is now pounding our coast. Latest winds here is 14mph with gusts just under 30mph but bands of heavy rain have been passing all day. These are images from the past two days. The first group was from Friday at Braces Cove, after I got home and downloaded the photos I couldn't believe the idiot getting too close to the monster breaker! I will omit captions....I believe the images will tell the story.

Are you sure that's not Steve out there? LOL!
Great surf shots! I sure wouldn't want to be pulled in though. It would be the end, right then and there.
Sharon
Gee Sharon you have a point there about Steve. He didn't grow up near the ocean and those are the ones who venture too far! But if it was him he would of posted some great photos by now. And it would probably include a photo of me titled..."There's Some Idiot Too Close To The Breakers"! LOL!
We'll keep an eye on his blog ; )
That is if it was him....and he made it back! LOL!
oooooh!!! now I know where this is! makes me sort of homesick--or, something like that. SO nice to have met you, Jay! Hope to see you again soon!
Same here, nice to meet you! Perhaps if you make back during the summer months I could take you on a waterfront tour on the boat! But you must bring a camera!!! The water is warmer too!
