The summer fun is almost upon us,Gloucester dispite the gloomy economy is ready to shine ! The real fun begins this Saturday morning at the State Fish Pier with the annual International Dory Races. The Downtown Gloucester Block Party starting scheduled for Saturday night the 20th has been cancelled due to the weather. Next week is the St. Peter's Fiesta where the altar is getting it's finishing touches. The seine boats have been polished and ready for the crews to start their practices.
Included in this series are some views from the docks and the rafters of Capt. Joe & Sons Lobster.
Below is a teaser for the slideshow I'll be showing at the next Block Party scheduled for 7/18.

Jay, I thoroughly enjoyed the video! Such great pictures of all seasons. The boats with snow and then without were beautiful. I also loved the one of the lady feeding the pigeons, and all the guys falling into the water. Super video and the music was excellent!

Thanks Sharon! You should make a point to bring the family down for the Fiesta! It starts on the 24th and runs through Sunday. Friday Sat. & Sunday are the water sports off the beach next to the Fiesta starting @ 4:30pm Seine boat races and the Greasy Pole event. Sunday night @ 10:00pm are the fireworks. A camera is a must!
