Greasy Pole ...Saturday !
What a day,the harbor was packed with boats as the crowds filled the beach. I headed out around 3:15 and couldn't find a place to anchor ! Myself along with talented photographer Mark Teiwes "rafted up" to a string of boats just outside the pole. We had to jump from boat to boat to get a better view and I'm telling you my knees and back is killing me! My biggest regret is that I was moving to get a better view when the flag was taken. I got the shot but it was too blury. Anyway I took so many photos I'll post the rest along with a controversy later on.

Once again, great job Jay!
That looks like so much fun!! The watching part...not the going out there...I don't even think I could bring myself to touch what ever is on that pole. But it sure does look like every one is having a great time. you gotta love summer!
Thanks! I took a ton of "pics" and didn't know where to begin. Today(Sunday) I'm not sure if I'll be on the boat or on land. It may come down to the weather. I might hold off from posting the rest to save today's festivities for the next post. Then later on I'll do a summary with the leftovers.
Those are so good! I especially love the expressions on the faces of the people watching! You do such good work, Jay.
