During my learning curve I've come to realize that most of the photos I take of vessels, I try to capture the entire structure. Though that's ok for most... the sense of detail ,speed and size sometimes gets lost. Here I try to take a closer look to bring out the rigging and the play upon the ocean's waves.

I think it's natural to want to capture the whole scene, I do the same thing, but I do like the partial photos of the boats. It gives a different look and emphasizes specific parts of the boats.
