Flowers!

Stacy Boulevard is all spruced up with flowers again. I was waiting all week for a good day to capture them and went early afternoon when we had breaks in the clouds. When I got home to down load the pictures only one was on the memory card! Turns out the card somehow popped out of its slot. I headed back there in the late afternoon which by that time clouds obscured the lowering sun. 

 

The End of April!

 This week a new cruise ship visited Gloucester. The 341' expedition cruise ship Ocean Explorer.

From a Gull to Boats!

 I'm greeted most mornings by a pair of gulls, Gertrude and Heathcliff. Gertrude had been the shy one while Heathcliff bold and usually gets close. But lately things have flip flopped, Gert is the one who will get close, sometimes too close. The other day while I was trying to take a picture of a sunrise she got in front of the lens!

Easter Week!

 Spring is trying to establish itself here but even on Easter Sunday snow flurries fell for about ten minutes. And offshore what looked like a waterspout!
