Rainy Waterfront !

It's just too wet to take the photos I wanted. All these were taken from the cab of my truck,I even positioned the tripod on the seat and held my breath.

Rocky Neck & Fish Pier !

I was pressed for time and during a few errands I brought the camera along. I was able to "grab" a few shots along the waterfront.

Clouds.....Heaven's Sculptures !

Sometimes Clouds can play an important role as a backdrop in a photo. And sometimes clouds can be the subject all to themselves. Over the years I've steadily become aware of the importance of these moisture laden drifting bodies when choosing a subject. Here's a few examples of natures heavenly sculptures.

Defending Gloucester !

Stage Fort... the only remaining fort of three that defended Gloucester during the Revolutionary War,The War of 1812 and the Civil War.Guns long ago silenced remain aimed though their protective berms provide excitement for youngsters and a great backdrop to the surrounding scenery. Ordanance still flies out of the fort several times of year, but only in the form of fireworks during various celebrations.

Here & There !

I went a little bit everywhere today. I gave my nephew a ride to his friends house in Rockport and along the way found a yard full of clutter. Then it was off to West Gloucester and to the old LePages glue factory that is now Pond View housing complex.Then back to the harbor where I stopped at Capt. Joe's Lobster. Another Sunset !

As you can tell I never get tired of sunsets. It's a show put on by Mother Nature that always changing.
