Fiesta Friday 2012!

The weather couldn't be better as crowds gathered for Fridays sporting events off Pavilion Beach. In the senior women's seine boat race "Oar'Dacious came away with a victory while in the junior race "Donna Del Mare" were the victors. Fridays Greasy Pole champion was Ross Carlson who became the first to win on the new platform. Rides peek around the corner. Greasy Pole walkers arrive. Painted green! Pinocchio! Pre-greasy walk pose! Good luck tap! "Thomas E. Lannon" passes by. Getting a pep talk. Heading out. Heading towards the flags. Pulling hard! Pulling together! Victory! Early Exit! Butt plant! Head over heels! Half way! Great attempt! Going down! Ross Carlson captures the flag! Ross and flag go for a swim! Ross is lifted up! High fives....and a beer! Brew shower! Beer in the face! Ross being carried through the streets of The Fort.

2012 St. Peter's Fiesta!

With the St. peter's Fiesta running in full swing I figured with perfect weather would be a good time to bring the camera down there. Altar Pirate Ship in full swing! Heading skyward! Bungee jump'n! I wish they had this when I was a kid! Lots of games! Arctic Blast Blondes having fun! Riding the bull! Bust a balloon...oh the colors! The tower is 85' tall and the swings reach a height of 75' Moon over swing tower! You won't see me riding this!

Nature's Prism !

With a series of T-storms rolling through I headed up the hill to catch an approaching storm front. After the storm passed the sky was painted with nature's prism! Storm Clouds getting closer!
