More Clouds and a Waterspout?
Going over the photos I took recently, one caught my eye. While traveling along the Back Shore I snapped a photo that from a distance looked like a waterspout. I'm sure it's just a cloud formation that looks like a waterspout but zooming it in on the computer it sure looks like one!

Wow! That looks like a water spout to me. Thats an awesome shot!!!
ReplyDeleteI don't know, Jay, that looks like a water spout to me too! Wow, I didn't see any indications other than the big wall cloud.
ReplyDeleteLooking at it some more, I've seen funnel clouds, but this one looks like it touched down. See how wide it is a the base? If it was a funnel cloud, it would taper to a point.
ReplyDeleteIn Galveston we used to see water spouts out over the Gulf. That's what they looked like....
