With cloud cover heading in the day before and rain the following morning, the skies boiled with menacing looking clouds during the day on friday.

The last eider looks like a juvenile king eider, fairly rare around this area. Great shot! Love the photos keep em coming.

ReplyDeleteYes, this is a King Eider. Holy cow, I was working up at Blackburn yesterday and saw the big puffy cloud bank. By the time I got off from work, the show was over. Man I had no idea what was going on out there.
