The Japanese defense forces couldn't stop Godzilla.....I captured the beast!
Spied this over Route 128 on my way home from work. Dirty windshield and strong sun glare I had to darken the image and crop out the sun. That's the only edit to what's probably my worse quality image. I figured some would get a kick out of it so I posted the pic on facebook. A few shares later it's gone world wide! Who would of thunk it?

Why I created this......

Born and raised in Gloucester, Ma fishing gets in your blood. Surrounded by the sea, kids here have a boat almost as much as kids elsewhere have bicycles! As I grew older my fishing ambitions gave way to what's around me. Although I still "drop a line" every so often, my attention wanders to the majesty of the natural light that make this place so special. Never is each day the same. The subjects may be the same but the light from the sea & sky will morph the subject into a form of art. For that reason artists have been drawn to these shores for several hundred years, they followed the light painting and sketching these surroundings. What artists capture with paint on canvas, I attempt to capture with a click.....if I'm lucky!

I guess that's a sort of Fish'n!

"Fitz" The Swan Makes A Comeback!

Last month a sick swan was found around the Fitz Henry Lane House where local Wildlife Rehabilitator Jodi Swenson came to the rescue. Jodi brought "Fitz" to the New England Wildlife Center in South Weymouth, Ma where it was determined that "Fitz" was suffering from lead poisoning. After responding well to medication "Fitz" the Swan made an incredible comeback. Saturday Jodi made the trip to South Weymouth to pick up "Fitz" for his trip back home. I was expecting "Fitz" to show up in a cage but Jodi didn't have one be enough for a swan so "Fitz" rode in style in the back of Jodi's car! She said you ought have seen the looks from others on the highway, "You would have thought a rock star was riding in back"! I'm sure in the eyes of "Fitz" the Swan, Jodi is the rock star!

Chasing Sunsets and Being Chased!

March is usually a good month for sunsets and I could see one was shaping up. You need clouds, crisp air and a good spot to capture nature's light show. An added bonus was small distant scattered snow showers that fell all around. On my way to Eastern Point I ran into a group of turkeys. One big one, I guess he was the dominant turkey and he refused to get out of my way! As the others cleared the road this one pictured below stood guard. I decided to open my door figuring it would scare him away. It didn't work, he tried to get into my truck! Quickly I shut the door and I slowly backed up but he ran behind my truck! That's when I escaped, I hit the gas as he tried in vain to chase me further!
