Colors of a Gloucester Winter !

Cold and dry mean bright skies. The wind had picked up today as the temps dropped, but it was a pretty good day to be out. And this time I remembered the battery!

Annisquam,Lanesville and Rockport !

I had to go out for a few errands and I figured while I was out to take the camera along. So when I was done I headed to Annisquam and when I was ready for the first shot the camera wouldn't work! I had forgot the battery! It was a trip back home to E. Gloucester to grab the battery out of it's charger and back to Annisquam I went.

Winter in Rockport !

A short side trip to Rockport this time of year without the thousands of tourist milling about allows me to park where I want!

Crew Saved And Boat Saved !

Working the sea can be rewarding and dangerous. Since 1623 Gloucestermen have suffered the perils of the mighty ocean to bring food and a paycheck home. Two men are lucky to be alive and their vessel is also fortunate. It's very rare that both their vessel and their lives were brought home to live and work again!
