Angry Seas Part II !

The first three photos are three hours BEFORE high tide ! With a nor'easter roaring in the tide gets an extra boost. As I made my way over to the breakwater the rain was sideways hitting me in the backside. Needless to say the drive home was a little uncomfortable.

  1. That is some serious surf, Jay! Hope there wasn't any flooding.

I have to ask, how do you protect your camera out in the rain? What camera do you use?

  2. The only flooding was some minor flooding at a few waterfront buisneses. The rain on the most part was side ways. I keep the camera close to my body were my head and hat and rain hood gives some protection. Most of the shots the rain was hitting my backside so that helped. A lens hood also helps. My main concern was keeping the lens dry and luckily I did but the shots suffer in quality. With the rain they have a grainy look to them.
