The Tradition of Turkey Day!

I was an assistant football coach from 1982 - 2002 at Manchester/Essex High School and the coach who hired me now has the Thanksgiving Day Trophy named after him, Fran York. It's also named after Georgetown native the late Eric DiMaio.
Coach York was on hand to present the trophy to this years Thanksgiving victor the Manchester/ Essex Hornets who defeated the Georgetown Royals 39-8.
Georgetown now has a new field complete with artificial turf, lights and a new scoreboard. Gone is the old "cow pasture" where depending on the weather it was either mud or ice or both!

From City Hall to Good Harbor Beach!

There is a moving tribute to Cape Ann's living WWII vets at City Hall by photographer Jason Grow. Stop in during City Hall's open times this month and it may run through December.

Also images from the past week.

November Light!

November can be a great time for photography. No humidity in the air means a sharp crisp sky, but there are also those rainy days.
