Heaven On Earth!

It all started out as a quick trip to the store when the sky opened up with quarter size raindrops as soon as I left the driveway. The downpour lasted at best five minutes but soon saw the sun busting through the clouds. My first thought was that conditions for a rainbow may be brewing. I decided to drive over to Good Harbor Beach and check it out. As usual I have my camera with me just in case and as it turned out I was fortunate to capture a stunning heavenly display.

 A closer look reveals micro funnel clouds and a horizontal "rope effect" cloud formation.
