Hurcules vs Gloucester!

Over a two day period winter storm "Hurcules" battered our coast. Heading home from work on route 128 was a white knuckle affair with numerous spin outs, mostly SUV's who's drivers think 4WD means "drive as fast as you want"!

Heading home.
The Greasy Pole and frozen rails.
 Empty benches on the Boulevard.
The texture of a snow drift.
 Good Harbor Beach
The repaired footbridge weathered the storm!
 A frozen sign!
 Salt Island
 A gull and Thacher Island.
Two gulls fly over the beach.
 Wind whipped breakers.
 More move in.
Bass Rocks under attack!
 A powerful wave.
 Offshore breaker
 Approaching breaker.
 WHOOSH!
Taking pictures.
 Brace Rock
 Brace Cove
 Smith Cove
 "Fog Off"
Drifting up!
 Jewelry shop on Rocky Neck.
 Beacon Marine
 East Main Street
 East Gloucester Square
