Sun and Snow!

Weather forecasters said we may be in for a dusting to 2" of snow. They were off a little bit as we had an all day light snow event. As I type about 4" is on the ground. This post covers the last five days from sunshine to snow and a side trip to nearby Essex. Schooner "Ardelle" at her Essex marsh winter home. Phil Powell's "Foxy Lady" Stern view. Bottom work. Net work as the giant wind turbines loom above. Varian's wind turbine which towers 565' above sea level in shadow. "Ugly Duck" Recently cited by the Coast Guard for using improper fishing gear "Princess Laura". NOAA's regional headquarters on the hill above. The fleet comes in. Jim Ford's "Lisa Ann II" The dude of Birdseye....can you see him? Flats piled high against the Annisquam Market. Ipswich Bay Wooden Buoy shack. Recently restored Lanes Cove shack. Stacked Lobster buoys. Snowy Boulevard. Fishermen's Memorial A prayer.
