The Twelve Months of Gloucester!

While I had my full of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" sung in every which way and local newspapers review the top stories of the year, I decided a month by month glimpse of Gloucester for 2011.

4/19/11 The first bottle of Ryan & Wood's Straight Rye Whiskey and a photo taken by yours truly graces the label!

4/19/11 Bob Ryan signs the first bottle.

5/22/11 "Capt. Joe" arrives to take "Princess Laura" in tow after she became disabled in the harbor.

6/4/11 Fishermen's Wharf back in business.

6/17/11 "Alian" remains brought up by the crew of the fishing vessel "Caberet IV"!

6/26/11 Alessandro "Ali" D'Angelo grabs the flag to become the Sunday 2011 Champ!

7/1/11 Crew from the "Emma Drew III" bring in the first tuna of the year.

7/20/11 Al Williams had a good day fishing for Stripers!

8/13/11 The annual Fishermen's Memorial Service.

8/28/11 Hurricane Irene put on a good show on the Boulevard.

8/28/11 Two youngster are put in harms way!

9/5/11 The annual Gloucester Schooner Festival.

9/15/11 Fire strikes Mansfield and Washington streets.

9/28/11 The 935' "MS Eurodam" came inside Ten Pound Island!

9/30/11 I'm aboard the schooner "Ardelle" as she escorts the "Lynx" into the harbor.

10/21/11 Senator Scott Brown came to Gloucester to demand the ouster of NOAA's Jane Lubchenco.

11/12/11 Greasy Pole in Newell Stadium to raise funds to rebuild the platform.

11/21/11 Firefighters save two cats at a Cleveland St. fire.

12/7/11 The Giacalone family opens their new BASE Gloucester auction display.
