March 2011 was a cold month, only one decent warm day and the past week temps below normal. It's also the end of the fishing season for most of the "Day Fleet" as April will see closures of the inshore fishing grounds. Today the fishing vessel "Miss Trish II" came in to offload as building clouds with a possibility of snow rolled in. So what else is new?
Calm waters
Second floor goes up at Cape Pond Ice.
Dock work
"Miss Trish II" rounds the corner.
Securing the spring line.
Fillet on deck.
Now that's a knife!
Ice below the scupper.
Building clouds!
It sure has been cold hasn't it. I don't foresee much of a warm up in the coming days either. Must be rather raw at the docks.
