Many times when I compile and edit images for posting I miss certain details. These days with the use of HPS (High Pressure Sodium) bulbs in street lighting, the orange glow they omit can really ruin a good night time shot. looking for ways to overcome that orange glow effect and enforce the true colors, I finally found the answer. The waterfront is really magical at night and besides the waterfront, I threw in Fenway Park from a game I went to last summer.

ReplyDeleteYou sure do have some nice night time images Jay! Especially down by the docks.
ReplyDeleteMaybe someday I'll learn to shoot better at night. My shots leave a lot to be desired.
Thanks Frank! Sharon...You probably know that a tripod is a must....then try out different settings. Slow shutter speeds to an open shutter. All the above images except the sunset and Fenway Park were with a tripod. Fenway's lighting is fantastic!
