Alot more boats surrounding the Greasy Pole than I expected and a haze that challenged me hung in the air. But the event was entertaining as it always is.
Thanks! As I said the light was terrible. I wanted to catch the seine boats but the CG & Harbor Master had too many restrictions in the area. Once I was anchored other boats began to "raft" around me. And when the flag was finally taken down I made it back to my slip with 15 minutes to spare! My boat is on the mud near low tide!
Thanks Steve! The sky was just too bright so I tried to concentrate from the pole down. Half way through the "walk" a boat got in my way.You can see a corner of it's T-top and rod holders in the last photo.
i saw boats anchored up thursday afternoon around the pole waiting for things to begin!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised they still let people do that. I thought the fun had been sucked out of just about everything.
