Along the Annisquam !

These are a collection from over the past few years of my travels along the Annisquam River. The Annisquam River is a tidal river that makes a large portion of Cape Ann an island. Boating traffic is congested in the summer and the boat speed limit of 5 mph is strickly enforced. The Blynman Bridge is one of the busiest bridges in the world with an average of 10,000 openings per year!

  2. The next to the last picture is next to perfect! Nice shots Jay!

I also think the one of the couple swimming in the water is very endearing. A photo, given the chance, they would surely love to have.

  3. Sharon, that elderly couple were lucky it was me approaching! They were in the middle of the channel and I slowed down to a crawl to slow down the boats behind me! I had just put my camera down when I saw them. One boat tried to pass me and I turned and cut them off. The guy was about to give me the one fingered salute then he sheepishly stopped when he saw why!
