From a low of 7 degrees F early morning to 20 degrees F this afternoon, the New Year has come in with a Winter Blast! Reality has set in that we are firmly entreched into winter.
My wife and I flew in on the red-eye this morning. It was beautiful and cold when we arrived in Logan at 7:00 am. This is exactly what awaited us. Happy New Year Jay, let's make it a good one!
Poor Shamu, stuck out there in the middle of some nasty parking lot. lol! Love the swans. I'm assuming they come there to spend the winter?
Funny how so many of your pictures remind me of Portsmouth, NH, yet most of the homes on the river here are very upscale, even the old Colonials. Maybe because Portmouth was a wealthier city than Gloucester.

ReplyDeleteBrilliant, Jay! The light in these --- especially the swans --- is exquisite!
